Matt Davis is the President of Driftwood Leadership focusing on leadership strategies and inspirational training for organizations and individuals.
Matt is a member of the Board of Directors for Altria Group Inc., and a member of the Board of Directors for Lake State Railway Company.
Matt is a member of the Board of Directors for the World Freerunning Parkour Federation (WFPF). WFPF is an international organization that enables a global community for Parkour and Freerunning with the goal of bringing the sport and philosophy to mainstream audiences.
Matt has more than 35 years of experience in leadership development, global government affairs, public policy, issues management, communications, reputation and public affairs strategy.
He retired from Dow in 2019 as the President of Dow North America and Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Affairs. He served as a member of Dow’s Executive Leadership Committee.
Matt was named to PR Week’s Power 50 list in 2018 which ranks the most powerful communicators who are tackling PR’s toughest challenges. He has been a member of Communications 50, a group comprised of fifty leading professionals in communications. He was named to the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame in 2009.
He is the President of the Alumni Board for Michigan State University’s College of Communication Arts & Sciences, and in 2018 was named Outstanding Communications Arts and Sciences Alumni.
He holds a B.S. Degree from MSU in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Affairs and Public Policy. He also attended the University of Michigan and Central Michigan University.
